Friday Fix #16...Meet Corinne!

Friday, May 28, 2010

The Friday Fix is a takeover of my Friday blog post by other bloggers who have volunteered their time and energy to "star" in their very own guest post on Friday. Only one mandatory thing - you must answer five of the most random questions I throw your way. The rest is up to you. Remember, if you'd like to be featured on the Friday Fix, shoot me your email, and let me know! So, without further ado, here is Corinne from Lost for Words!

The Most Random Questions in the World...

1. If all the world is a stage, where is the audience?

The audience is sifting through space, sitting on asteroids watching us through telescopes. They may be thinking, "What on earth are they doing?" Other than that, I'm not sure where else they could be hiding. If they were on earth, they would be part of the production, eh?

2. If olive oil comes from crushed olives, how do they make baby oil?

Apparently it comes from almonds... or mineral oil, but I'm sure they are just saying that so as not to cause an uproar. ;) Though, I don't think I'd ever use it if they actually used babies, would you?

3. Can vegetarians safely eat animal crackers?

No animals were harmed in the making of animal crackers. That should be a disclaimer on the box. Maybe vegetarians would eat animal crackers then. But if it's the ideology of them actually thinking the animal cracker represents the animal, then they may not eat them. It's up to that specific vegetarian's discretion then. :)

4. If time heals all wounds, please explain belly buttons to me.

This one stumps me too. Clearly having a cord ripped out (or pardon me--cut off) of your stomach at birth should have healed by now, but I guess it's left there just in case. Maybe the trauma associated with it is just too much for it to heal, and it's a wound that is left there for us to remember where we came from. (Mother's womb that is).

5. Why aren't mustaches called "mouthbrows"?

That's a good question. Why aren't they called mouthbrows? Though, some that I have seen should be called mouth shrubs, etc. I did google this, and found it amusing that someone also mentioned that it was probably the same reason why eyebrows aren't called eyestaches... Case in point?
