It's so much fun because we get to see what our fellow bloggers stumbled upon this week and add even more to our piles of books! Without further ado, this week I received the following books:

Absolutely convulsing to get my hands on THE PLEDGE. I have CINDER and I'm super excited to read it. It's such a fun concept. Also, VARIOUS POSITION looks elementally sad, devious and genius. Is it totally jacked that I love ballerina stories? No, probably more jacked is the fact that the synopsis says her teacher is basically falling for her and I'm totally wanting to read about the scandal. YAY, for book scandals! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat mailbox! I'm especially interested in the FSG books, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you think about those. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I can't stop laughing. Like full belly laughs because is that girl on the ballerina book really bent over with words saying "various positions" on her BUTT? SRSLY! what in the world. i wonder if the publishers made the connection?
ReplyDeleteAlso!!! the girl on the pledge cover looks seriously like that girl from hero's? the one where there are two of her? (she was in final destination) okay yay books!! i will stop talking now
I grabbed Legacy too, I've had it on my "I must buy" list for ages so I was pretty excited that it was available on the galley grab just need to make time to read it now.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of various positions...it reminds me of an ostrich LoL. Oh, Pledge..can't wait to read that one. We got some of the same books from Macmillan---really excited about Cinder and When the Sea is Rising Red!
ReplyDeleteGreat mailbox! I did laugh about Various positions too :) We have such dirty minds! I've got Legacy and The Pledge as well. Have a lovely week of reading!

I really liked The Pledge, it is very different to The Body Finder series!
ReplyDeletei am sooooooo envious you got a copy of When the Sea is Rising Red. i adore the author (at least her twitter account, lol) and the summary--and cover!--are just, WOW.
ReplyDeleteVarious Positions looks really interesting. I had not heard of that one before.
ReplyDeleteWhat a really nice array of different types of books. Various Positions sounds like it could be really good, and I liked the Pledge, but I haven't reviewed it yet because I'm not sure how I feel about it still. I think I expected a little more language involvement? Hope you enjoy them. :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I've been begging for an ARC of The Pledge FOREVER! Enjoy your haul, Melissa!!
ReplyDeleteWow, great fantastic books this weekend. Can't wait until the winter, if only for all the fantastic books being released. Happy Reading!

ReplyDeleteI had to galleygrab The Pledge, I could not help myself! :D
ReplyDeleteI like that 2nd book of yours
I don't know what it is about VARIOUS POSITIONS...great title, bent-over booty shot. Did they mean the double entendre? If they did, then it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteSo many other good books, too! Happy reading.
Yay for Macmillan! (Am I right?) I can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of these, Melissa, especially The Pledge (I read it and thought it was okay, so I'm looking forward to seeing your perspective). Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteCinder and The Pledge and After the Snow and all of these awesome books! Can't wait to see what you think!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO jealous, you have no idea! Those aren't only gorgeous looking, those are books I've been coveting for a while now.
ReplyDeleteThe Various Positions cover is lovely, although this is the first I'm hearing of the book.
Wow, you got some great books. I hadn't heard of Various Positions, I immediately added this to my TBR! I'm stoked that so many dance books are coming out! I'm such a sucker for dance shows (SYTYCD) and movies. I love some of these covers - After the Snow, Various Positions, Life is but a Dream... Here's my IMM post! ~ Jen @ A Book and a Latte
