These days, it's really difficult for a book in the YA market to truly stand out from the crowd. Ever since I saw the cover and read the synopsis of Harbinger by Sara Wilson Etienne, however, I've been captivated.
There is a darkness to the premise, and there is a twisted undercurrent that I'm just thrilled to experience. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the cover artwork is phenomenal. I'm so excited to say that I'm a part of Sara's art reveal project, with each piece representing a scene in the book. When sixteen-year-old Faye arrives at Holbrook Academy, she doesn’t expect to find herself exactly where she needs to be. After years of strange waking visions and nightmares, her only comfort the bones of dead animals, Faye is afraid she’s going crazy. Fast.
