Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Fall TBR List

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. The feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists over at The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week they will post a new top ten list that one of our bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All they ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a great way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Top Ten Books on My Fall To-Be-Read List

A lot of the books on my fall TBR list are actually winter releases, so I'm not sure if this is really cheating or not. However, they're all on my fall queue, so that counts, right? I swear, there are some AMAZING books coming out, and I have so many on my reading radar, that it was almost impossible to pick just 10. So, without further ado...voila!

Catherine by April Lindner

Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger

Fault Line by Christa Desir

Goodbye, Rebel Blue by Shelley Coriell

Battle Magic by Tamora Pierce

Sometimes Never, Sometimes Always by Elissa Janine Hoole

Pretenders by Lisi Harrison

Heartbeat by Elizabeth Scott

Waterfell by Amalie Howard

The Well's End by Seth Fishman

  3. This is the second time I've seen Fault Line on someone's list and it's making me wonder why I've never heard of it before today. It sounds frickin amazing.

There are definitely so great books coming out toward the end of this year! Awesome picks!

  4. I'm actually not excited for any of these! I've actually not even heard of most of them, but I'll be curious for your thoughts. I'm mostly waiting on Just One Year, Allegiant, World After, These Broken Stars, and Vicious, but I love these covers and this list. Great one, Melissa!

  10. First of all, I miss your face!

Second, I'm really excited for almost all of these as well. Waterfell and Curtsies & Conspiracies especially! I don't know much about The Well's End, I need to go look that one up, but if it's on your list, I think I'll probably want it on mine as well:)

  12. I haven't heard the best things about Fault Line from a couple of blogger friends of mine, so I decided to remove it from my TBR.
However, I'm beyond excited for Heartbeat, Waterfell and The Well's End. I haven't read April, yet, so I'm not sure if I'm dying to read Catherine.
    Great list, Melissa!

  14. I'm interested in Catherine :) I wasn't a huge fan of Jane, but it was fun enough to try another book.

  16. So glad to see Goodbye Rebel Blue on your list Melissa, I want to dive into my copy right away, but have so many books that I need to finish before :( I also have a copy of Heartbeat, so I'm looking forward to reading more from Scott, I've only read one book by her previously! Happy reading! :)

  17. I really enjoyed your list because I actually hadn't heard of most of these! However, I'm really intrigued by Fault Lines and Goodbye Rebel Blue so I'll be keeping my eye out for those.

  18. I have three of those on my list too; actually I already read Sometimes Never, Sometimes Always (pretty good), Heartbeat (awesome) and Waterfell (really neat). They were all great books but Heartbeat was my favorite. I have not read Tamora Pierce yet but keep meaning to.

  19. I have Gail's book already requested from the library! Everything will be put aside for her new YA! *swoons*
