The Friday Fix is a takeover of my Friday blog post by other bloggers who have volunteered their time and energy to "star" in their very own guest post on Friday. Only one mandatory rule (you can't get out of it!) - you must answer five of the most random questions I throw your way. The rest is up to you. Remember, if you'd like to be featured on the Friday Fix, send me an email, and let me know! So, without further ado, here is Tara from 25 Hour Books!
2. Why are people scared of little mice but they aren't scared of a giant, creepy Mickey Mouse?
3. If quitters never win and winners never quit, who came up with "quit while you're ahead?"
4. How does a shelf salesman keep his store from never looking empty?
5. Do one-legged ducks swim in circles? (this makes me sad, but I've always wondered...)
Oh I really hope not! I'm betting they learn how to swim with their disability. Nemo seemed OK with his special fin!
Tara, I love your answers. To everyone else, be sure to check out Tara’s awesome site where she reviews books and has sweet features at 25 Hour Books!
Love the interview as always. I'm a quit while you're ahead person :-)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas for tomorrow Melissa, I hope you enjoy it and get lots of new books! I love Tara's answers too :)
ReplyDeleteoh that poor duck! That makes me sad to think about too. Always a fun feature!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Eve!!
I really can't imagine how does a one-legged duck swims. But I'm sure it'll survive. Animals have better survival instincts than humans.
ReplyDeleteFun answers. Have a wonderful christmas eve and merry christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tara - Nemo did alright with his tiny fin, so I hope little duckies with only leg don't spend all their time spinning in circles. That would be sad:( Great questions and answers as usual!
ReplyDeletePoor ducks, but if they can swim so :)
ReplyDeleteNemmo is rock and quite wonder how does a one-legged duck swim! Merry Xmas Melissa!
ReplyDeleteGreat post :) Mickey Mouse scared the snot out of me the first time I met him when I was 3 years old. Merry Christmas Meli!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Nemo rocks! And, I think that ducks don't swim in circles. I mean, there are so many people and animals out there that aren't the norm and they seem to manage. Did you ever see that special with the woman who had no arms. Man, she could sew and paint AND drive, like amazing! I have 2 arms and I can't sew very well and I certainly can't paint. So, I now conclude that ducks don't swim in circles. However, the top questions cracked me up! How tall would having no legs make you?

Hee hee... love the answers. Great meme. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Love this meme :)
ReplyDeleteLol, I'm totally afraid of risk, which is probably why I quit while I'm ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh, and what's so scary about Mickey? I totally love him!
Anyway, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays!
Great answers! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I hope your holidays are filled with magic. :)

ReplyDelete"Quit while you're ahead"
Ever since SMG said that about her reason for quitting Buffy, I have hated that phrase.
Great answers, Tara. Now I want to help decorate. It's all about staging. ;)
Mel, please consider adding a sub by e-mail for people full of fail like me.
