Ok, I'm a sucker for a good hist-fic, but I never seen to find any great new ones these days. Sure, there are one or two here and there, but the genre for YA isn't exactly overflowing per se. I have to say that The Debutantes not only has an amazingly striking cover, but the time period fascinates me! I'm in love with (read: obsessed) with Downton Abbey, so this is the same time period...perhaps kind of in the same vein?! Either way, I can't wait to have this in my paws. For reals. I know exactly what you mean about historical fiction being few and far between. I haven’t read a good one in a long, long time. Luckily there are surprisingly a few promising titles coming out soon and Debutantes definitely makes my list too! Thanks for sharing your pick!

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard too much about The Debutantes yet, but I really like the plot description! It really does remind of Downton Abbey too with the secrets in the household and I always enjoying learning about the Roaring Twenties. Great WoW pick!
