queen-bee status, Stephanie finds herself taking
sides in a battle she never even knew existed,

I just think this looks excellent. It's a bit like a coming of age story, but I think it might have just the right depth that such novels need. Can't wait!
In other news - An open letter to whomever sent me two books via Amazon anonymously: THANK YOU!!! You are officially my hero! I received Sea Change by Aimee Friedman and I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder. No return address was given, and no note...just "Enjoy!" So, whoever sent me these lovely gems...thank you (a tad creepy you know my address), but thank you!
This cover just hooks you! So glad you're a fan of WoW...thanks for participating!!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly sounds interesting but not exactly original. The cover is kinda sad too.
ReplyDeleteO score! I ADORE Sea Change! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover, this one looks like a great read!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cover. And congrats on ur book haul..
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice surprise! I had a blogging friend send my daughter a birthday present once. I thought it was wonderful and thoughtful, and I found it disturbing that she found my address that easily!!
ReplyDeleteThat book looks great! Nice find. How cool that you got surprise books in the mail, but yes, disturbing about the address lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! This is on my wishlist too, can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteOoooh and how exciting that someone sent you books ... I mean, it is slightly creepy, but wahey like they said - ENJOY. ;)
That book does sound really good!! How cool that someone sent you a book from amazon!
ReplyDeleteLol how did they figure out your address?
ReplyDeleteI saw this pick on a previous blog and it does look intriguing.
Great pick! It's not one of the books I'm looking forward to the most, but I'm interested to see how the author carries off that plot.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the awesome books! I'm so jealous; I want to read both of them. Though, yes, agree on the address, hm...
Ooh, the cover looks nice and it sounds right up my alley. Gonna check this one out! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, two new books! Yes, about the address, that is a little weird. But hey, TWO NEW BOOKS! Lisa Schroeder!
This sounds like a good contemporary YA. I don't usually read that kind of stuff (being an urban fantasy nut) but since I grew up in BH I might try this one to see if it is portrayed accurately or as the expected cliche.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely nice to get some books but the address issue would bother me too. Oh, well, I'm sure it was just a nice person being generous so enjoy!
