Top Ten Tuesday: Book Covers I'd Frame as Art

Tuesday, May 6, 2014

It's no secret that I'm a huge cover slut, and I think that books with beautiful covers are one of my all-time biggest vices. So, naturally, this topic speaks to my soul. Would you believe I actually have art prints of some of these amazing, amazing covers? My husband doesn't know what any of them mean, but that doesn't matter, does it really?

  1. Oooo yes to all of these Melissa! I couldn't love the Mara Dyer covers more, they're all stunning. And Not A Drop to Drink just might be my favorite on that list. I love the colors and the type and the whole thing:) If Kevin would let me wallpaper our walls in these lovelies, I absolutely would, but he might frown on that. Killjoy.

    1. Obviously our husbands need to meet. For some reason, Ryan didn't think framing the cover for THE REPLACEMENT for the baby's room was a good idea. Silly man.

  3. Okay, so that cover for Some Quiet Place scares the bajeezus out of me! haha I've thought that for a while now and it still creeps me out! I'm pretty easily creeped though so that's not saying much! haha I do love the Mindy McGinnis covers though!

  4. I love book covers. I'd love to have a wall of framed, gorgeous covers in my library (sadly, there's not room for this but a girl can dream). The Not a Drop To Drink covers and Splintered ones are my fave of your picks, I think, though I do love them all.

  12. Oh, I like all of them so much! Man, there's a sequel to Not a Drop to Drink! I have to look for some reviews of some of these books. Especially After Party. Did you read that right after the big day??
Baby's room?? Did no one else see that but me?? No, please don't hang a mobile like the one on The Replacement in the baby's room! We need to find some lighter reading material for you!!

  14. Pretty cpvers are my biggest downfall! I can sometimes just buy a book based on the cover alone, without even glimpsing at the blurb! And I agree with you, I would love to have some of these covers up around my house, especially The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Thanks for sharing with us! :)

  16. The Mara Dyer Trilogy has some of the most beautiful covers out there. I actually think the second or third book might have my favorite cover, but really they're all gorgeous. When the Sea is Rising Red and Glass Casket are other favorites of mine. Fantastic list, Melissa!(:
